Voices is West Valley College’s Literary Arts Magazine.

We publish West Valley College student, faculty, and alumni fiction, poetry, and art.

Submission Guidelines

Send work to voices@westvalley.edu

  • 3000 words or less for fiction/creative non-fiction entries
  • Three to five poems per author
  • Ten art pieces per artist

(Limitations are on a per semester basis)

Art of any form is welcome, but it must be submitted in digital format. Please try to make your entries in the highest resolution possible.

Submission file name must be in this format: (Last name)_(Submission title)_(genre). For example: davinci_monalisa_art.png

Include the following in your email to Voices: name, contact information, the title of your submission, and whether you are a current student, alumni, faculty or staff at West Valley College.

Submit written entries in Word or PDF format and art entries in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format
